Computational Design

What is it?

Let There Be Light is a little game which uses the Wii remote as a controller. The player has to decipher the image on the screen by finding an external light source that will illuminate the digital screen. If the player finds an external light source, depending on the the intensity and proximity, the dark screen of the code will un-fog itself to reveal an image.

How do you interact with it?

The Wii remote has an IR sensor which the user/player uses to find an external light source. As the player points at the light source, the dark image on the screen lightens to reveal
what it contains. Depending on the internsity of the light source the image is either easy to decipher or not.

The Interaction Design Programme

The Interaction Design Programme is a collaborative initiative between Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID) and The Danish Design School (DKDS). Our aim is for students, faculty and staff to work together in a multi-cultural, multidisciplinary studio environment to co-create a new kind of education that is relevant for academia and industry.
