The goal of this five-day course was to introduce students to the core concepts involved with interaction design through brief lectures, hands on exercises, film viewings and discussions. Computer hardware/software was not used in the exercises — the course was an analogue experience of digital interaction concepts. Topics included mental models, metaphors, affordances, usability, gestures, networks, sociality, and augmentation.

The Interaction Design Programme is a collaborative initiative between Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID) and The Danish Design School (DKDS).
